Saturday, September 20, 2008: Zenith Aircraft's 17th annual OPEN HANGAR DAY and Fly-In Gathering was a great success, with a lot of sun, planes, food, and great company. Thanks to all who participated and made this event a fun event! At right, builders and their planes pose in front of the Zenith factory for the traditional group photo. |

An outdoor dinner buffet was enjoyed by more than 120 builders and Zenith employees on Friday evening prior to the Open Hangar Day. |

US Jabiru's STOL CH 701 was a highlight of the 17th annual Zenith Open Hangar Day on September 20, 2008. Pete Krotje, owner and director of Jabiru USA, flew to the Zenith factory in Mexico, Missouri in his yellow and red STOL CH 701 powered by an 85-hp Jabiru 2200 engine, and impressed everyone (including the Zenith crew) with the excellent performance of the light-weight Jabiru 2200 powered CH701.

Zenith literature package is easily the most complete
package I have received from any light aviation company,
and I’ve seen many other good ones among the hundreds I
have studied. Lots and lots of information is presented
with some lovely graphics. The literature alone is
impressive, but the volume of information will keep you
reading for hours. You can get a good idea of what
you're buying without ever leaving your chair."Note: Many of these images show customer-built aircraft, some of which have been modified without the designer's specific approval. Modifications will affect the specifications and performance of the aircraft.
