Carl Ritter, Illinois City, IL: "I purchased a set of plans for my STOL CH 701 on the spot from the good folks at Zenith Aircraft in September 2001 after a ride in their demo. My 701 flew very well the first time. Power is a Subaru EA-81. Performance with this combination is impressive." |

"I built my STOL CH 701 701 in 1 year and 4 months. It was fun." |

Paul George, Kingman,
Arizona: "I started on this Zenith STOL 701 project in May of 2003. Construction time was about 5½ months. I kept a log on construction time (and exceeded 500 hours by a few but not many hours). I am happy with the aircraft and it was fun to build. I would recommend it to others. The engine is a Subaru EA81 with a Warp Drive prop." |

Don Welsh, Clinton, Ontario, Canada: "I built the wings and other major assemblies in my kitchen and then moved out to the barn where all the pieces slowly but surely turned into C-GZQD. The engine is a Continental A65." |
