| | Photos from Brazil: A builders club meets regularly to scratch-build a number of STOL CH 701 aircraft. |
| | Building from scratch (plans-only), the builders first have to fabricate the dies and forming blocks, and then build all the individual parts (that make up the STOL CH 701 kit). |

| | "My
name is Klaus "Sam" Hott and after having retired as a jet
pilot in the German Naval Air Arm I fly Learjets in a target
demonstration role. Just recently I flew my 701 to work at Hohn Airbase
in Germany. I then flew two flights for the Army in the Learjet, where
tanks fired at the targets (which you can see attached to the Lear
wings).  After those flights I climbed back into my 701 and
returned home after a very relaxing flight on a beautiful day. What more
can you ask for? I extremely enjoy flying the STOL CH 701 - it is so different from my other flying - that's the fun!" |
