Don Thomas (Harsens Island, Michigan):

"The plane was built between January 19th and June 19th. Some work was done on it most every day. It's been an interesting project and learning to fly it has been interesting too. Roger was a big help. Thanks for your help."

reuschle1.jpg (58243 bytes) Jeff Reuschle's STOL CH 701 (Snellville, Georgia):
"I completed my 701 and had it signed off the day after I got my private license. That was 10 days ago and I have 14.8 hours flown off of my 40 hours...It is powered by a Rotax 912ULS engine and it is a joy to fly. It cruises at 80 mph at 5000 rpm.  Thanks to Roger & Nick and others who helped along the way. Thanks to Chris for his excellent design and for his help with some questions I had. I sure had fun working on this plane!"

Alvin Rose's STOL CH 701 Alvin Rose's STOL CH 701 (Newfoundland, Canada):

"The aircraft flies like a dream... Short field takeoff and landings are amazing using the 100-hp Rotax 912 uls engine. Thanks for a fine aircraft"

Robert K.'s STOL CH 701 (Montague, Calif.):

"First flight was on March 4th.  It flew straight and level and the Rotax engine performed perfectly.  The STOL CH 701 was airborne in 80 feet. Top speed is 105 mph and cruise is 90 mph.  Stall is 28 mph and I land at 25 mph.  On the fuselage is an aboriginal art rendering of an Australian Go-Anna.
"Thanks to Nicholas at Zenith for his assistance and to Chris Heintz for a great design... and a special thanks to Jean, my wife, for her patience and assistance..."

"The Zenith literature package is easily the most complete package I have received from any light aviation company, and I’ve seen many other good ones among the hundreds I have studied. Lots and lots of information is presented with some lovely graphics. The literature alone is impressive, but the volume of information will keep you reading for hours. You can get a good idea of what you're buying without ever leaving your chair."
