Brazil which featured a ZODIAC CH 601-BR. This is a customized ZODIAC
CH 601 UL with a slightly longer wingspan and small flaps to meet the Brazilian
"ultralight" rules.
"The Zodiac CH 601-BR with engine Subaru EA81,
customized in Brazil for the ultralight category, flies as a conventional airplane, with
the advantage of lower operational costs. The Zodiac is a simple,

leisure use. It can be powered from 65-hp to 115-hp, can be equipped for IFR, and as
well as floats.
